Why we do not resell safaris

Plenty of operators book your trip with a local company and add a margin. We do it ourselves. That is more expensive to set up and cheaper for you.

When we started, we spent six months working out whether it could pay: our own vehicles, our own people on the payroll, our own workshop. On paper, reselling is simpler. But then you do not decide who sits next to you in the car.

What that means in practice

Our seven guides are on the payroll, insured and retrained every year. Our six Land Cruisers live in our own workshop in Arusha and go through a forty-point checklist before every departure. If something does break on the road, a mechanic is with you within a couple of hours.

The morning check before departure. Every vehicle, every time.
  • No middlemen, so no double margin
  • The same guide for your whole trip
  • We are liable, not a company you never speak to

The downside is that we cannot scale endlessly. In high season we are full, and then we say no. It costs us revenue, but it keeps the quality up.
