About 9 hours non-stop to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO). KLM flies daily from Amsterdam.
Most nationalities need a visa. Apply online or on arrival — we will send you the right link.
Yellow fever only if you transit through an affected country; DTP and hepatitis A recommended; malaria prophylaxis depends on your route.
Tanzanian shilling (TZS). US dollars are accepted almost everywhere — bring notes printed after 2009.
Swahili and English. Our guides are fluent in both; Gerald and Angel also speak Dutch.
Two hours ahead of Central European Time. 25–30 °C during the day, chilly at night up by the crater — bring a fleece.
